Romantic movies of 2011
76
Movies are our life suspended on film. And romantic movies are the best!
I
really can’t wait to see what 2011 has prepared for us when it comes to
this kind of snuggle-next-to-your-boyfriend kind of movies.
Just
by looking at the title you will see some kind of patterns: the year
starts and ends with some tormented love story, and continues with
showing us that friends can become sometimes more. Some actions romance
movies share the 2011 list with comedies and we could see some retro and
remake action too.Let’s not forget the SFi type and the list is so
diverse that all we have to do is hit the cinemas or just buy the DVDs
for some romantic time at home.
So let’s see the top 10 list of what awaits us in 2011:
- Love and other drugs: drug rep (Jake Gyllenhaal) falls in love with a sick girl (Anne Hathaway)and they both get a chance to change their lives for the better.
- No Strings Attached: Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher share a friendship with a lot of benefits. When love gets the better of one, we could expect a lot of laughs and giggles.
- Just Go With It: a plastic surgeon (Adam Sandler) enlists his assistant (Jennifer Aniston) in a plan to help him get the girl of his dreams. But when trough lies and mistakes they end up in Hawaii, we could hope a lot of romantic-comedy shenanigans.
- Red Riding Hood: remember Twilight? You can expect the same kind of romance, beautiful actors and ...woods from this movie.Oh, and with the amazing Amanda Seyfried in the lead.
- Jane Eyre: looks like the remake of the remake of the adaptation of the book. But if you really like Mia Wasikowska (Alice In Wonderland) the film could be a great one for the summer.
- Beastly: One of the most promising Beauty and The Beast adaptations ever, except the Disney animation. It looks modern and hype, and with a cast made out of Vanessa Hudgens and Neil Patrick Harris it could only go two ways: either awesome either bad.
- L.O.L.: Laughing Out Loud: Miley Cyrus, Demi Moore in a remake comedy of an European movie...I wouldn’t laugh....
- Something Borrowed: movies like this make me want to read blogs and not books.I just wish they would stop making excuses for the girls who get drunk and sleep with their best friend’s fiancee.Starring: Ginnifer Goodwin, Kate Hudson, Colin Egglesfield, John Krasinski.
- Footloose: This is a remake of the 1984 musical that made Kevin Bacon a star. With Kenny Wormald, Julianne Hough, Dennis Quaid, let’s just hope it will be romantic enough to make us forget that Kavin Bacon isn’t starring.
- The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn: Saving the best for last, or at least that what the director thought.Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson return as adults prepared to mix humans and vampires at a wedding and then by making a baby.If you read the book, then this probably will be a great way to end the year.
So,
hope this list will satisfy your lust for romance in the year that only
starting.I await your comments and hope to get some good feedback from
you.

nice one
I like Adam Sandler in just about anything so I'll probably check out Just Go with It. Next would be Jane Eyre because I like the old stuff. Love Is Never Ugly looks touching too. Nice List. Thanks for sharing.
